Profhilo is the latest skin tightening treatment (non-surgical skincare technology) used in facelift treatment. It helps you overcome the problem of facial ageing, making you appear younger. It is made of 100% HA (Hyaluronic Acid) and is unbelievably effective in nourishing dermal cells and restoring natural firmness of the skin. It helps getting rid of creepy skin by hydrating it from inside out.
In Profhilo, L-HA is released slowly from the HA hybrid complexes and therefore does not trigger the first inflammatory cytokines making it very biocompatible. It also increas¬es patient comfort during and after treatment and provides hydration to the skin especially in the epidermis - the Hydro effect.
H-HA in Profhilo provides a stable HA architecture in the dermis. This gives a volumetric effect - the NATURAL Lift effect.
Another advantage of the stable co-operative hybrid complex when compared to H-HA and L-HA is the increase in the ex¬pression levels of type I and type III collagen in fibroblast and type IV and VII collagen in keratinocytes.
This results in improved skin quality and skin hydration both in the dermis and epidermis. There is also increased production of endogenous HA and elastin giving the skin a more youthful look.
SIDE EFFECTS

During the use of PROFHILO®, symptoms such as pain, the sensation of heat, reddening or swelling may appear at the injection site. These secondary emergences can be relieved by applying ice to the treated area. They generally disappear in a short period of time. You can continue your daily activities as normal; however, we do recommend you avoid makeup, saunas, steam rooms, swimming, or working out rigorously on the day of treatment.

CONTRAINDICATIONS
PROFHILO® must not be used with treatments such as laser resurfacing and medium deep skin-peeling.
